The Story

A supernatural nightmare becomes reality when Owen Cross, a twenty-year-old college student home for the summer, watches his parents disappear in the middle of the night.

Then impossible becomes normal.

His search for answers pulls him into a hidden world of wizards, ancient orders, realms beyond the Veil, and powers he never knew existed. The Arcanum orders its Sentinels to bring Owen in for breaking the First Law of Magic. And something far older has begun to take an interest in him.

As the foundations of Creation begin to fracture, Owen is forced to decide whom to trust, what to believe, and how far he's willing to go to find the truth—all while discovering what he truly is.

Some answers were hidden for a reason.

About the Author

R.W. Serrin

R.W. Serrin began writing Primoris: Echoes for a fairly simple reason: Jim Butcher wasn't writing The Dresden Files fast enough.

A longtime fan of contemporary and urban fantasy, Serrin started writing what would eventually become Primoris as a way to give his own imagination somewhere to go between books. Eight chapters later, reality—and a healthy dose of discouragement—won out. The manuscript went untouched for several years.

Then he opened it again.

What began as an unfinished story quickly became something much larger: a world of ancient powers, hidden histories, impossible choices, and an ordinary man discovering that reality is considerably stranger than he'd been led to believe. Five months later, Primoris: Echoes was complete, becoming Serrin's debut novel and the first book of the Primoris trilogy.

Away from writing, Serrin has spent his career in the building and engineering industry, where apparently managing real-world problems wasn't enough to keep him from inventing fictional ones. He lives in Northern California with his family and, when he isn't writing, can usually be found playing golf, hockey or softball—or finding an excuse to get somewhere near a beach.

For now, R.W. Serrin is a pen name.

Eventually, the world found out who Iron Man really was...
